We understand children may feel intimidated by visiting the dentist, so we take the time to get to know them and create a positive experience. We use kid-friendly language to explain what their treatment will include so they know what to expect. Our compassionate team also offers various sedation options to meet your child’s needs and maximize their comfort.
At Jordan Landing Pediatric Dentistry, we combine modern technology and a gentle chairside manner to help your child smile confidently throughout their formative years. Our team works hard to make coming to the dentist something your child looks forward to and not something they fear. Whether your toddler needs their first visit or your teen needs a filling, we are here to help.
Meet Dr. Ryan Johansen, DDS
Dr. Johansen is a board-certified pediatric dentist. He graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California, in 2001. Following dental school, he completed a two-year pediatric dental residency at Primary Children’s Medical Center.
He has been in private practice since 2003 and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. A Utah native, Dr Johansen enjoys doing a wide variety of outdoor activities with his family. Dr. Johansen is married with five children—three sons and two daughters.
Meet Dr. Ryan Burt, DDS
In 2012, Dr. Ryan Burt graduated Creighton University and before that, completed his undergraduate studies at BYU with degrees in biology and Japanese. To maintain his advanced education and training, he regularly attends continuing education meetings. He even became board-certified in pediatric dentistry, in which he was trained for two years at the University of Nebraska. Dr. Burt is also a member of the ADA, AAPD and ALD.
Dr. Burt’s goal is to provide quality care for children and allows them to leave knowing they have a caring dentist as well as ensuring parents that their children are getting the best care he can provide. Dr. Burt is married with six kids of his own, too! Outside of the office, he loves camping, hiking, sports and going to sporting events with family.

Our team uses kid-friendly language to explain each step of their treatment, helping them feel informed and at ease. To ensure their comfort, we offer a range of sedation options tailored to their needs, including nitrous oxide, oral sedation, and IV sedation. Our goal is to create a safe, gentle, and supportive space where every child feels at ease.
